Career

I graduated from Edinburgh University in 1992 and started my career as a General Dental Practitioner within the Royal Air Force. I undertook 3 years of specialist training at the internationally renowned Eastman Dental Institute (University College London) and successfully achieved a Masters in Clinical Dentistry in Periodontology and the European Federation of Periodontology Certificate in addition to the Membership in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. I was then appointed as a Wing Commander and Clinical Director of the Military School of Dental Training. I completed my military career in 2012, after overseas assignments to the Netherlands and Germany and developed a successful 5 dentist practice which I subsequently sold in order to continue my career as a specialist periodontist and implant dentist.  I now work exclusively in private practice and also take NHS referrals from dentists who have obtained an Individual Funding Request (IFR) for their patients from the NHS.
